Misleading Information in the Consent Form?

If you are about to take the abortion pill, Mifegymiso, you will be given a consent form to sign. The consent form says;

I understand that MIFEGYMISO medical abortion is irreversible.”

This is not true. We know that the Abortion Pill Reversal protocol works in almost 70% of cases.

The consent form also states, “I understand that once I start Mifegymiso, I have to complete both steps. Both Mifepristone and Misoprostol can cause birth defects.”

This is also untrue. A study first published in 2013, Continuation of pregnancy after first‐trimester exposure to mifepristone: an observational prospective study, found: “This first prospective study found that the rate of major malformations after first‐trimester exposure to mifepristone is only slightly higher than the expected 2–3% rate in the general population. Such findings provide reassuring data for risk evaluation for continuation of pregnancy after mifepristone exposure.” 

Ask yourself, does the consent form tell me the whole truth?

The Mifegymiso Patient Medication Information sheet asks: “What is Mifegymiso used for?”

Their answer is: “Mifegymiso is used for ending your pregnancy. This is called abortion. Mifegymiso is only used if your last period started 63 days ago.”

Sixty-three days is 9 weeks, so if you are 9 weeks pregnant then your child is 7 weeks old. Clearly, Mifegymiso is much more than just “ending your pregnancy,” since the drug regimen is used to kill the pre-born child in the womb by starving him or her of oxygen and nutrition, and then expelling the child from the womb. Shouldn’t women have the right to be informed of the developmental stage of their baby before taking the abortion pill?

The Mifegymiso Information sheet also says: “Do not use Mifegymiso if, “you have or suspect an ectopic pregnancy.” (This is when the egg is implanted outside the womb).

Again, this is false information. An egg never implants inside or outside of the womb because it is just an egg.

Sadly, with ectopic pregnancy the tiny little human being implants in a fallopian tube and the situation becomes life-threatening for the mother and the child if not treated as soon as possible.

The First Two Weeks

Shortly after a woman’s period begins, her body begins preparing for the possibility of pregnancy.

Approximately 2 weeks into her cycle, a woman releases an egg from one of her ovaries into her adjacent fallopian tube. Conception is now possible for the next 24 hours or so 8 and signifies the beginning of pregnancy.9

The single-cell embryo has a diameter of approximately 4 thousandths of an inch.10

2 to 4 Weeks

The cells of the embryo repeatedly divide as the embryo moves through the Fallopian tube into the woman’s uterus or womb. Implantation, the process whereby the embryo embeds itself into the wall of the womb, begins by the end of the third week and is completed during the fourth week of pregnancy.11

The 4-week embryo is less than 1/100th of an inch long.

4 to 6 Weeks

By 5 weeks, development of the brain, spinal cord,12 and heart13 is well underway.

The heart begins beating at 5 weeks and one day14 and is visible by ultrasound almost immediately.15

By 6 weeks, the heart is pumping the embryo’s own blood to his or her brain and body.16 All four chambers of the heart are present17 and more than 1 million heartbeats have occurred.18 The head, as well as the chest and abdominal cavities have formed19 and the beginnings of the arms and legs are easily seen.20

The 6-week embryo measures less than ¼ of an inch long from head to rump.

6 to 8 Weeks

Rapid brain development continues with the appearance of the cerebral hemispheres at 6½ weeks.21

The embryo reflexively turns away in response to light touch on the face at 7½ weeks.22

Fingers are beginning to form on the hand.23

By 8 weeks the developing human measures about a ½ inch from head to rump. “
